To be totally honest, we aren’t sure why Squaw did this. But the people are talking……

“The new owners of Squaw decided to cut these beautiful old trees, presumably to enhance the view from the sundeck. Unless there is another reason, this is another example of putting profit in front of what is morally right, in this case, respect for the environment.” – Jamie Schectman

“It’s about time they cut down those trees. On more then one occasion I have been sitting on the sun deck and my view of KT and the beautiful sunshine were blocked by these trees.” – Jess W.

This certainly isn’t gonna go over well with most Californians. We like our trees and I don’t think any of us noticed those particular trees being any sort of nuisance .  What do you all think?
