My new favorite guy from Jersey, Jay Dash, sent me these images from today at Alta. I got up later in the day and it was not quite as fluffy. I tried to point it into High Rustler with disastrous results. Now I have a tweaked ankle and a severely bruised ego. I would have some sweet footage for you guys, but I forgot to charge my GoPro. Oh well, I am super stoked that it is still snowing and that there are still people getting after it. Way to go fellas.
Matt Grady got himself into the goods today by hiking the Alta. It seems to me that snowboards work just fine at Alta. Odd?
Dan Farrell is another guy who usually rides at the Snowbird, but made the trip east to Alta for some ultra late season pow. Looks like it was worth the trip.
DJ Benway is in this photo somewhere. It is tough to see him with all the powder flying all over. Next time you should wait for the snow to settle Jay, so DJ’s friends can see him.
Another snowboarder! Wow they are letting anyone ride at Alta these days. Phil Tolliver figured out that you need to jump up out of all that snow if you want your friends to see your rad face.
With a 180 inch base it is tough to believe that Alta is closed for the season. At least Dan Farrell can keep hiking and airing for another 2 or 3 months…
