Friday –Saturday, April 8-10, –Whistler Cup Presented by Rio Tinto Alcan. Whistler Mountain. North America’s Only FIS-sanctioned race for juvenile ski racers age 11-14. Happing on Whistler Mountain. Friday, April 8 –Payday Fridays. Moe Joe’s. Thank God it’s Friday and thank god that you get to spend the night with DJ Praiz. DJ Praiz is really good. Don’t believe me? Okay then ignore that he opened for almost every medal ceremony during that event…oh yeah The Olympics. DJ Praiz will make you feel good, all over. Saturday, April 9 –Snowslam 3. Merlin’s. 9:30pm. This festival is held one night a year and basically tears up Whistler for the evening. It would be a good time to let you kow that this is a punk festival. If you’re interested keep reading if not… go on to the next post. There are seven bands but only four hours of show time. Some bands include Vancouver’s Carpenters, Cambridge and Slush. Oh Boy. Short and sweet for you punks. $10 or $15 dollars.
Saturday, April 9 –Ladies Night. Moe Joes. 9pm. Chicks come out. And DJ Rosco plays everything that you want to dance to. Great drink specials and ladies are free before 11.
Sunday, April 10 –Park Riders Sessions Presented by Telus. Watch skiers and snowboarders hit three consecutive jumps spaces closer together and perform their latest tricks.
