MLK, Jr weekend is looking solid with some snow and a little sun sprinkled in. The music lineup is solid as well with some pretty funny acts tonight and Lyrics Born tomorrow night. Friday, Jan. 14 – The Release of G.N.A.R. The Movie! That’s right folks, Unofficial Networks is releasing our new film TODAY so keep an eye out on our homepage. This will be free to all Unofficial fans on our site and available for purchase on DVD. G.N.A.R. was just recently nominated for TWO Powder Video Awards for Best POV and Best Documentary! Friday, Jan. 14 – Pirate Party Fundraiser @ Big Billie’s. 7pm. $5 suggested donation. This is a benefit for the Telluride Adaptive Sports Program and features a raffle and auction. Friday, Jan. 14 – Stephanie Hatfield & Hot Mess @ The Llama. 10pm. $5. This Sante Fe, New Mexico rock band seems straight out of the early 90’s and reminds me of something from Wayne’s World. Their lead singer seems kinda hot as well and has a pretty amazing voice. She even sometimes performs in her underwear. Cool. Sunday, Jan. 16 – The film Steep @ The Palm. Free showing of this awesome film! 4pm. If you have not seen this film yet, it is a great documentary and definitely worth seeing, especially if it is free. Some really powerful stuff.
