Looking towards the Notch
Looking towards the Notch

Today was another COLD one at Stowe.  The morning started off with a couple of wind-holds on both the Four Runner Quad and the Gondola.  The only thing worth hitting this morning was the Double on the Mansfield side.  I forgot how long and cold the ride is on the double… brrrrrr!!  The conditions were solid again today.  Taking wicked fast groomers was the only way to keep warm!  I can’t complain too much about the solid conditions because having a good solid base will only help the rest of the season.  To be frank, today wasn’t all that good.  There were some flurries in the air, but it only seemed like a tease.  The Quad did open up later in the day which was nice, especially since it is a quicker ride to the top!  The Gondi remained on wind-hold, so if conditions permit tomorrow, the Gondi will probably be where it’s at!

It looks like we are in store for some snow over the next week.  Keep those fingers crossed and do your snow-dances!  I think we are all ready for full on Winter!!
