So today was one of those days that would suck at most resorts, but kinda rocked at Snowbird. The light was in and out, with extra tricky vis on the North facing aspects. With the December sun staying low in the South sky riding on Silver Fox was somewhat on the dark side.
The snow was mostly chalky on the North facing slopes and really rough on the West facing slopes. After a weekend of great pow and warm temps the West facing stuff got kinda cooked and re-frozen last night. The tram was walk ons all afternoon and we were blessed with a great last tram announcement in rap form. If you have not heard it yet I guess you don’t stick around ’til the end of the day often enough.
