A.M. Update: The snow was short lived. Rain has moved back into the valley with no real accumulation of snow on the valley floor.
Jan. 23, 2009: 6:45 p.m. – Precipitation on the valley floor has changed from rain over to snow. Some of the flakes are as big as 3.5 inches across. No Joke. A more accurate depiction would be that there are chunks of snow falling from the sky. It’s not really sticking yet but seriously, some of the biggest flakes I have ever seen. Weird.
