When it comes to petty theft, there’s nothing more petty than stripping devices or appliances of their copper wiring.

It’s a low-life move– plain and simple. But that didn’t stop two men from stealing nearly 200′ of copper wiring from snowguns at New Hampshire’s McIntyre Ski Area on Wednesday afternoon.

Ski area officials estimate the value of the copper being around $200 whereas the subsequent repairs could go as high as $6,000.

According to the Union Leader, a maintenance employee discovered the theft after noticing the snowguns’ power cables had been cut. Further video evidence shows two unidentified men at the scene of the crime before they leave. The pair was dressed in green, long sleeve shirts with some sort of white logo on the front.
