The plan was to bring a 14-story indoor ski and snowboard center to central Florida, but the project, projected to cost $309 million, has been put on hold. Xero Gravity Action Sports said that the project hinged on a deal to purchase land in the area, but the deal fell through. The group said it’s now looking at other potential sites, in and out of the area of Osceola County.
