Killington Ski Resort in Vermont became the first ski resort in North America to open for the 2015 -2016 ski season.
Killington opened it’s season at 9:30 a.m. this morning to season passholders and Express Card holders. Skiers and riders uploaded and downloaded via the resort’s K-1 Express Gondola to access the Upper and Lower Rime runs beneath the North Ridge Triple chair. Skiing and riding will be open to the general public starting 9 a.m. tomorrow, the same day that Sunday River Resort opens in Maine.
