There is plenty of snow to ski right now in the Southern Hemisphere but French freeskier Jordane Legal decided to go against the grain and travel to Duna Toro Mata in Acari, Peru for an epic sand skiing mission. The 5,905 feet descent is the longest in the world and takes around 10 minutes if you are really cooking but Jordane took a more breezy playful approach rather than going for all out speed.
If you are interested in taking on Toro Mata yourself you can book a guided trip for around $250 USD. When you are done destroying the bases of your skis we highly recommend checking out the the Nazca Lines which are not too far off.
If you are trying to recall how to might know Jordane, he was the star a massively viral ski clip back in 2023 where he sent a 236 foot air to a flat landing. Jorndane managed to ski away from from that fueled on pure adrenaline but when he calmed down and assessed his body discovered he had actually broken a vertebra and his sternum from the impact. Glad he was able to recover and is still out there getting after it.
