Exciting news out of Deer Valley Ski Resort in Utah where yesterday crews installed lift towers for the resort’s first ever 6-pack bubble chairlift. Keetley Express is one of three new chairlifts Deer Valley will be debuting for the 24/25 ski season along with 20 fresh ski runs on over 300 acres of new skiable terrain. Its all part of their “Expanded Excellence” initiative which also includes 500 additional day-skier parking spots accessible via U.S. Route 40 at Deer Valley East Village. This is just small part of a grander plan that will double the size of the existing resort making Deer Valley one of the largest resorts in North America.
Deer Valley’s Expanded Terrain is a long-awaited evolution that will add an additional 3,700 acres of skiable terrain, more than doubling the size of and making Deer Valley one of the largest ski resorts in North America. Upon completion, Deer Valley will offer over 5,726 acres of skiable terrain accessed by 37 chairlifts serving 238 ski runs and the Deer Valley East Village to create a seamless mountain experience from beginning to end.
