The slopes of South Korea’s northern Gangwon province are beginning to reopen after the government shutdown all tourist attractions in December, 2021 due to a rise in coronavirus infections. Regulations stipulate all skiers and snowboarders are subject to a temperature check.  Night skiing is not allowed at all premises, and slopes and restaurants have to close by 9pm.
