There aren’t that many travel guides out there that are as entertaining and knowledgeable as Rick Steves. This nearly hour-long special follows Rick exploring various parts of the Alps, including Chamonix, the Dolomites, Zermatt, the Matterhorn, and many more spots. The special was shot over the summer, so there isn’t much skiing shown and focuses more on the culture, hiking, and the lifts at the resorts. Still, he gives detailed a guide on what to check out if you ever make it across the pond. He hasn’t posted any specials about actual skiing in the Alps yet, but one can dream, right?
