For the past ten years, Aspen Ski Company has been issuing pins to anyone who skis 100+ days in a ski season. Aspen local has stacked up quite a few pins and was just awarded with the first ever 1,000+ day pin.
Long time local and a man who skied EVERY DAY for 9 years straight, Mikey Wechsler, was honored with the first ever 1000 day pin. for reaching 100 days for 10 straight years. In actuality Mikey skied 1666 days in those 10 years, so maybe we owe him half of a pin!
