As the spring gives way to summer and the snow melts away, there’s always a bunch of crap that either fell by accident or was chucked intentionally under lift lines at resorts across the world.

If you have the opportunity, I would highly suggest participating in a group cleanup day like this one sponsored by Burton at LAAX.  They were able to collect 40 cubic meters of trash.

Also if you are summer hiker of resorts, not a bad idea to stick a trash bag in your pack and pick up litter as you find it (also if weather comes in you can use it as a rain poncho).
