Vermont Gets Late April Snow | 5 Ski Areas Still OPEN!

Images From Sugarbush

Vermont ski areas are reaping the rewards of a bumper season. Ski areas in the Green Mountain State received more than 8 feet in March alone. This is allowing for some truly epic spring skiing. Adding to the bounty is a few inches of fresh snow that will no doubt make for some terrific late April skiing.

“About 3-5” fell overnight, and more continues to drop now. With some minor wind gusts also at play, there will, without a doubt, be drifts over a foot deep out there.

We’ll have 30 snow-covered trails for your skiing and riding enjoyment today, 11 of which have been groomed this morning.” – Jay Peak
