* Class 3 hitch with lights and power brake hook-up
*Dual switchable 13 gallon fuel tanks
*Dually rear end with (4) brand new E-rated tires ($1000) 500 miles on themCons: (Most of which happened on my trek from Montana and I havent had the time to fix)
* Directionals and windows stopped working and it keeps blowing the fuse. A bad ground somewhere
* Only the rear tank is currently hooked up. The 6 port selector valve failed on one side. I purchased a used one from a junk yard, but I’ve been running it off of just the rear tank. The float in the rear tank needs to be replaced, so the fuel only reads at half when it is actually full. Both fuel systems are plumbed as they should be otherwise.
*The interior is a bit dirty and the drivers seat is torn up pretty good. Could use a good cleaning.
*The drip rail (see photo) is rotted in parts. Pictured is the worst part of it. All ford trucks of this vintage are notorious for drip rail rot. This is still very repairable and not a difficult job.
* Lastly, on my last 500 miles stretch I blew out one of the retreaded tires in the rear end. It tore a hole through the fender well fiberglass. All of the rounded edges are still there so it just needs a flat sheet to be repaired. This is also a very easy fix. The foot rail on that side also took a beating, It could be bent back, but will never be perfect. Please see the photos.
