North Conway, New Hampshire — Since the late 2010s, Cranmore Mountain Resort has modernized its base area with four new buildings, which has created ski-in/out accomdations. More are planned in the years ahead.
Earlier this month, Cranmore Mountain Resort announced it had completed the first four phases of its base area development. The resort officially completed the latest phase after selling the last of the 69 units built so far. These sales have raised over $54 million, allowing the ski resort to continue its buildout.
“The residential development proceeds all went into paying for new ski facilities that are enjoyed by our residents, season passholders, day visitors and the community at large,” said Ben Wilcox , the GM of Cranmore. “The resort can now meet the needs of today’s skiers in our base area, and we have also been able to expand functions and weddings at the resort during the spring, summer and fall.”
The first and second Kearsarge Brook Condominiums added 18 and 19 units, respectively. The next major development was the Fairbank Lodge. The first two floors are Cranmore’s new base lodge and a new 7,000 square foot slopeside patio. The upper two levels feature 15 residences. The latest development, known as The Lookout, has 17 residences and a new home for Cranmore’s ski patrol.
This hasn’t been the only development. Cranmore also recently opened the Fairfield Inn & Suites and another new base lodge (Artists Falls).
Two additional buildings are planned. They will add 35 residential units, a restaurant, a retail shop, and rentals. A timeline for these two buildings has yet to be officially announced.
