Cheers to all the skiers and snowboarders who participated at the 2026 edition of The North Face Frontier, an elite freeride competition held at The Remarkables in Queenstown, New Zealand.
Fresh snow brought some of the best competition conditions they have seen in years as over 100 athletes from 14 nations dropped into The Remarkables in the Freeride World Tour qualifying event offering a key opportunity for emerging athletes to get to the big show. aiming to progress to the Freeride World Tour.
The Escalator and Elevator Chutes in the Alta Chutes zone at The Remarkables Ski Area offered big lines, epic powder turns, huge airs, and plenty of progression combined with a rowdy crowd, DJs, live commentary by Kiwi ski legend Sam Smoothy. Cheers to all the athletes!
