The Snow League and NBC Sports have expanded their media rights agreement ahead of the league’s second season, bringing more professional snowboard and freeski halfpipe competition to American and international audiences.
The agreement will increase live coverage across NBC and Peacock while adding a second United States stop at Park City Mountain in Utah. The Snow League will also livestream every Season Two event on its YouTube channel for the first time.
More Snow League Events Coming To Peacock
Peacock will carry more than 50 hours of live Snow League coverage during Season Two. Every competition will be available live on the streaming service and The Snow League’s YouTube channel.
NBC will also provide expanded broadcast coverage, including encore presentations of each event. The expanded partnership follows a successful inaugural season that reached more than 8.1 million viewers across five NBC broadcasts in the United States. The league said the expanded distribution is designed to make its competitions more accessible as it continues building a global audience.
Park City Joins Aspen On US Schedule
Season Two will feature two major events in the United States. Buttermilk at Aspen Snowmass will return to the schedule before Park City Mountain hosts the league for the first time from January 21st through January 23rd, 2027.
Park City will feature the mountain’s first 22 foot halfpipe since the 2019 FIS World Championships, providing a significant new venue for the league’s elite snowboarders and freeskiers.
The season will also include events at Cardrona Alpine Resort in New Zealand and LAAX in Switzerland.
Snow League Season Two Schedule
The Snow League World Challenge at Cardrona will take place September 18th and 19th, serving as a preseason event. The competition will feature four teams representing North America, Europe, Asia Pacific and The Challengers. The regular season begins at Aspen from January 7th through January 9th, followed by Park City and the championship finale at LAAX from March 11th through March 13th.
Founded by three time Olympic gold medalist Shaun White, The Snow League is built around head to head halfpipe competition and season long standings. Its inaugural season featured a $2.2 million prize purse and crowned Sena Tomita, Yuto Totsuka, Eileen Gu and Luke Harrold as its first world champions.
