In case you hadn’t heard, the best current snow conditions in the world are in Chile where there they got hit with a massive record-breaking storm cycles earlier in the month.
Shaun White decided the prospect of shredding pow in the month of August was too tantalizing to resist and booked a flight to Santiago and then made the short drive to Valle Nevado Ski Resort where he has been riding hard for the past few days.
The 3-time Olympic gold medalist may be retired from competition but he certainly hasn’t hung up his board and is still very much game for hopping flights to South America to ditch the American summer and rip some August pow slashes.
