Nebelhorn Ski Area at Oberstdorf Kleinwalsertal is part of the largest interconnected ski area in Germany. In terms of piste options, Nebelhorn isn’t the largest in the grouping, but if you’re looking for long run from peak to valley, this mountain is the place to be.
Nebelhorn is home to the longest valley run in Germany, stretching 7.5 kilometers, or around 4.7 miles, from start to finish. The run drops 1,400 vertical meters, or around 4,593 feet. European ski instructor Marius Quast shared a start-to-finish, non-stop and uncut video of this run, taking more than 9 minutes to complete the entire thing.
The Nebelhorn summit station, where this run begins, sits at an elevation of ~7,296 feet. The ski down features wide, panoramic slopes at the top, a steep black run in the middle section, and a long, pleasant valley run in the lower section. With that mix, it is among the most incredible runs in Europe.
