California’s largest ski resort, Palisades Tahoe, is officially bringing back the Midweek Pass for reduced cost skiing and snowboarding Monday through Friday.
Designed for those who prefer the quieter weekdays over peak weekends and holiday periods, the new pass is meant for those with a flexible work, school, or family schedule. It does not provide access for Saturdays and Sundays and, like many discounted ski passes, comes with a few blackout dates. December 28th-January 1st and February 15th are all blacked out.
The pass starts at $699 for those 23 and older. Young adults aged 13-22 and seniors 70+ can get their hands on the midweek pass for $629, while children 5-12 can get the pass for $489. Additional benefits with the pass include unlimited summer Aerial Tram access and 50% off weekend and holiday lift tickets if you decide to get out there on the busier days.
The Midweek Pass and day lift tickets are free for children 4 and under. If you’re only planning to ski a few days throughout the winter or during a vacation, it may be worth taking a look at the Palisades Tahoe Lift Ticket deals. If, on the other hand, you plan to ski on weekends and holidays, take a look at buying an Ikon Pass.
Palisades Tahoe is the largest ski resort in California, offering a total of 6,000 skiable acres between Palisades and Alpine Mountains. The resort features 2,850 feet of vertical rise with a peak elevation of 9,050 feet. 24% of the resorts terrain is considered advanced, while 9% is considered expert.
