45th Annual Little Cottonwood Canyon Cleanup Day
45th Annual Little Cottonwood Canyon Cleanup Day

Shoutout to all the volunteers who participated in the 45th annual Little Cottonwood Canyon Cleanup Day.

Every spring, residents and employees of Little Cottonwood Canyon gather together to stroll along Highway 210 with trash bag in hand and collect hundreds of pounds of roadside litter.

This year’s event kicked off with a light breakfast at Our Lady of the Snows community center at Alta and then volunteers hit the road to begin the cleanup. After a few hours of tidying, the group met at The Cliff Lodge at Snowbird for some lunch.

“A huge turnout today helped beautify the canyon, protect our watershed and strengthen our community through stewardship. Thanks to all who attended and remember to Leave No Trace when you come visit and enjoy our canyons and the Wasatch Cache National Forest.” -Alta

Lovely tradition and an incredible way to kickoff the summer with a positive note. Cheers to everyone who pitched in!
