Palisades Tahoe closing day: May 24th 2026

Palisades Tahoe is finally throwing in the towel on the 2025/2026 ski season and will wrap up operations on Sunday, May 24th.

“With over a week left in the season, let’s make the most of every turn, every chairlift ride, and every spring day spent in the mountains with our friends. More than anything, this time of year is a reminder that it’s the people who make Palisades Tahoe special. Your passion for this place is what carries us from opening day all the way to the final lap of the season. Here’s to sharing the love.” -Palisades Tahoe

Currently chairlifts are scheduled operate from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. daily to help preserve the snowpack. All current access at the renown Tahoe resort is via The Funitel.  Siberia’s last day will be today and Shirley Lake is expected to operate through the middle of next week. Gold Coast and the Terrain Park are planned to take us through closing day. Due to thin coverage, the Mountain Run is closed and all guests must download from Upper Mountain to the Base via the Funitel or Aerial Tram.
