Colorado’s ski season is officially set to come to an end this Sunday, May 10th, with Arapahoe Basin celebrating one last weekend this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. With the recent snow hitting the state, it seems pretty likely that the ski area will have a nice few final days.

According to their morning snow report, 9 inches of snow had fallen as of around 6am. By the time Arapahoe Basin’s snow stake was cleared off at 7am, it sat just under 10 inches. Between the clearing at 7am and around 9:15am, another inch had fallen, bringing the storm total up to just under a foot. It’s still snowing, too, and it’s meant to continue into the afternoon, meaning the ski area could see well over a foot of snow before it’s all over.

If you’re planning to wait until this weekend to get on the snow, there’s a chance it will be all gone by the time you get there. Uphill access is currently open to skiers and snowboarders, though all facilities are closed and there’s no staff on the mountain, so you’re doing so at your own risk.

Lift tickets for the final three days of the season (May 8th, 9th, and 10th) will cost just $39, allowing you to ski for cheap at the last open ski area in the state. It could be a decently warm few days, so make sure to pack some killer costumes and be ready for a party. Sadly it doesn’t look like Lake Reveal will be making an appearance this seasons, but that doesn’t mean it won’t be a great weekend!
