United Kingdom — If you’ve ever dreamed of living in the UK, there’s a chance to run a ski field that’s among the largest in the country.

The BBC News reports that the Gloucester Ski and Snowboard Centre is for sale. Investors are being asked to make an offer of around 625,000 pounds (nearly $850,000 USD). With this portion of the country typically not getting snow, the slopes have a Dendix, allowing skiers to get some artificial turns in. The current owner reportedly runs another business and wants to focus solely on it. The property’s value is reportedly around £1.6 million ($2.168 million), including the equipment and skiing infrastructure.

Opened back in 1973, it has a bit of a bumpy history, yet has held an important part in British ski history (which is a thing). Its early history was a little rough, with a foreclosure in 1975. However, it recovered and became a critical learning experience for many skiers and riders. This included Eddie the Eagle, the legendary British ski jumper. In 2012, the new owners added an extension to the ski slope, resulting in a greater vertical drop.

If you’re wondering which local football club it is, it’s Gloucester City A.F.C., a semi-pro club. A short drive away are two major clubs: Aston Villa and Birmingham City FC. Aston Villa has been one of the better sides in the Premier League in recent years. Meanwhile, Birmingham City, which is partly owned by Tom Brady, is in the Championship (England’s second-highest league). Some other nearby major clubs include Cardiff City (League One) and Bristol City F.C. (Championship). Anyways, I digress.
