Mt. Washington, New Hampshire  Tuckerman Ravine remains one of the most accessible yet extreme backcountry experiences on the planet for skiers and riders. We see a lot of big crashes there, but the beautiful sends are also fascinating to watch.

As captured in this video by Christine Maurice, a skier took a bold line down Tuckerman Ravine. Going down the Icefall zone in the Headwall, the bold line is not taken on by many. While the skier’s jump wasn’t the biggest ever in this zone, the individual stomped the landing in a choppy zone and then glided down the rest of the steep slope with ease. Jeez Louise, indeed.

It should be noted that there has been a major recent closure on the Tuckerman Ravine Trail. The section from the Lunch Rocks to the Headwall is now closed due to undermining and growing crevasses. If you do go, do your research before making the fantastic voyage.
