New York City, New York — Ding, ding ding…congratulation to U.S Olympic gold medalists Breezy Johnson and Kate Delson who had the honor of ringing the opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange yesterday morning.
The NYSE referred to the occasion as a “golden takeover” as Breezy Johnson won the gold medal in women’s downhill at the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games and Paralympic snowboarder Kate Delson took home the gold in Women’s Banked Slalom.
After the ceremonial ringing of the bell, Breezy and Kate also took a moment to reflect on their standout performances on the world stage this past winter. Incredibly proud of these woman. Truly inspirational athletes. Cheers to Breezy and Kate!
