Deer sends mountain bike trail @ French Alps

Chamonix, FRANCE — Incredible wildlife encounter from the mountain biking trails of the French Alps where local sportsman Papy Millet was riding along in patchy snow conditions when he was stopped in his tracks as a deer emerged from the woods and elegantly crossed his path with a single bound.

The deer’s all-natural suspension absorbed the impact of the high speed jump far better than any mountain bike forks could ever perform and the deer was off on his way before Papy had time to react. As it disappeared into the forest, Papy stood in debelief letting out an universally translateable “whoaaaaaa.”
