British Columbia โ€” In terms of which Canadian ski resorts are underrated gems on a powder day, Manning Park is an option.

Located in British Columbia, Manning Park isn’t as big as other competitors, but it packs a punch with quality natural runs. It’s also the mountain that YouTuber Rise & Alpine grew up skiing at.

In this video report from a 20 cm (nearly 8-inch) powder day, he shows off his favorite powder spots. While you can hear a bit of crust while he gets his turns in, it does look like a dreamy day.

About Manning Park

Manning Park describes itself as having the best snow on the West Coast. It features 35 trails across 346 acres with five lifts. It has a summit elevation of 5,868 feet and a base elevation of 4,451 feet, giving it a vertical drop of 1,417 feet.

Other winter activities include cross-country and snowshoeing trails. There are also various lodging operations for those who want a convenient commute in the morning. Summer activities include hiking and mountain biking trails.
