Vuori Snow

Founded in 2015, premium American activewear and lifestyle clothing brand Vuori quickly gained traction in the market attracting significant investment and was valued at over $5 billion after an $825 million funding round in 2021.

Vuori has expanded from a direct-to-consumer business to over 40 brick and mortar stores across major U.S. markets and select international locations, with products also available at retailers like Nordstrom, REI, and Equinox.

After a decade in the business, Vuori has decided to get into the ski business and just debuted a full line of ski wear they are calling Vuori Snow offering a “new perspective on mountain apparel.”

“Our first-ever snow collection was born from years of obsessive design and relentless testing across every condition to deliver uncompromising performance from backcountry to resort.”

The name Vuori actually comes from the Finnish word for “mountain” and is meant to symbolize founder Joe Kudlaโ€™s passion for challenges and the outdoors. Makes sense that a company called mountain in Finnish started making ski gear. Here is what Kudla has to say about the new collection.

“For me, the snow collection has always been about more than just outerwear. It’s about honoring our commitment to quality, embracing our unique point of view and celebrating the spirit of the mountains that inspire us to reach new heights.” –Joe Kudla, Vuori Found & CEO
