In total, the LOOK Pivot has 28mm of elastic travel, allowing the binding to absorb energy and return to center quickly to prevent unwanted pre-releases. The 360 degrees of natural rotation featured in the heel piece allow the binding to deliver a balance of retention and release, keeping you on the mountain for longer without losing a ski or hurting yourself.
The Pivot also features a significantly shorter mounting zone than many other bindings. With the Short Mounting Zone, the bindings don’t interfere with your skis’ natural flex as much as a longer mounting zone might.
