When it comes to ski bindings, few are quite as recognizable as the LOOK Pivot. With near bulletproof metal, the iconic turntable heel piece, and record elasticity, the Pivot is the top choice for many skiers around the world.
The new Pivot 2.0 comes with some major upgrades, including a length adjustment extended to 20mm, a new ISO setting screw adjustable with a Allen wrench, improved durability, and more. It also comes with multiple new colors, including the stunning Blue Steel that will certainly make everyone on the slopes jealous. If you’re ever wondered exactly how these bindings are put together, the video below covers the mounting and assembly process of the Pivot Blue Steel.
In total, the LOOK Pivot has 28mm of elastic travel, allowing the binding to absorb energy and return to center quickly to prevent unwanted pre-releases. The 360 degrees of natural rotation featured in the heel piece allow the binding to deliver aย balance of retention and release, keeping you on the mountain for longer without losing a ski or hurting yourself.
The Pivot also features a significantly shorter mounting zone than many other bindings. With the Short Mounting Zone, the bindings don’t interfere with your skis’ natural flex as much as a longer mounting zone might.
The Pivot 2.0 Blue Steel, and other colors, are available in a range from the 11 to the 18. The Pivot 2.0 18 is currently available in Blue Steel for $479.99. You can learn more about other Pivots, including the 1.0, here.
