We would like to join Snowbird in wishing a very happy birthday to Utah ski legend Junior Bounous who just turned 100!

Junior is was born on August 24, 1925 and has been a true pioneer in skiing and is responsible for introducing multiple generations to the joy of skiing. Junior helped craft Snowbird’s trails and is famous for setting records as the oldest heli-skier. The centenarian’s legacy continues to shape the sport.  Bounous has skied 73 days last season at Snowbird and we hope to see him tearing it up this winter. We echo Snowbird’s sentiment in thanking Junior for his enduring impact on Snowbird, Utah and skiing!
