Looks like the greenskeeper at Northlands Golf Course in BC, Canada had their work cut out for them after a curious black bear took particular interest in the flagstick at the 6th hole.
Situated at the foot of Mt. Seymour, just above Deep Cove in North Vancouver, Northlands is smack dab in the middle of black bear country and it wouldn’t be the first time the local bear population has wreaked havoc on the links. Northlands made light of the recent cup destroying incident on their Instagram:

The North Shore mountains, which border North Vancouver, are prime black bear habitat and its quite common for bears to venture into residential areas in search of food. While grizzly bears also inhabit sections of British Columbia, thankfully for golfer bears most frequently encountered in North Vancouver are black bears.
