Solitude Mountain Resort in Utah just set the shot clock on the opening day of their 2025/2026 winter operations. The iconic Utah ski resort is boldly predicting they will open on November 14th:

“Who else is ready?! We’re 100 days away from kicking off our 25/26 winter season!” –Solitude

The prediction comes at a time when temperatures are approaching 100°F in the Beehive State, so it may be difficult to imagine the mountain covered in snow but its actually slightly later than Solitude’s opening days in past three seasons.

To celebrate the occasion, Solitude is planning a DJ & Donuts Opening Day Party:

“Catch a ride on the first chair of the season at Solitude and get ready to rip, carve, huck, and schuss down our slopes once again. Lifts open November 14, conditions permitting. Our opening day party has become tradition. Starting at 8:00 a.m., we’ll be serving free donuts while a DJ cranks the excitement to 11 and keeps the party rolling.”

We hope Mother Nature gets with the program so Solitude can make good on this early prediction. Cheers!
