KICKING HORSE, British Columbia – Professional Canadian freeride skier Marcus Goguen took a look at his impressive run from the Kicking Horse FWT 2025. Kicking Horse was where he earned his first Freeride World Tour podium, so he was pretty excited to get back there. Unfortunately he wound up competing while feeling very ill, but he still managed to pull it all together.
Goguen’s new Run Review Series analyzes his competition runs, discussing his line choice and breakdown, mental state, conditions, and more. He discussed his Kicking Horse line and how being sick might have actually helped him compete at a higher level throughout the run in his most recent video.
Goguen finished the 2025 Freeride World Tour with a win at Kicking Horse and at the Georgia Pro. Along with a second place finish at the Val Thorens Pro, Goguen was able to finish the season as the men’s skiing Freeride World Champion.
