British Columbia — You may remember from earlier this month that Mount Washington Alpine Resort was able to have some skiing and riding from its summit for Father’s Day Weekend.
Thanks to the remaining amount of snowfall around its summit, Mt. Washington Alpine Resort created a rail park next to the top of the Eagle Express chairlift. While some of that snow melted, it’s not completely gone. Because of that, Mt. Washington decided to go for two more rounds.
This past weekend marked the official beginning of summer operations at Mt. Washington. Typically included in this lineup are ZipTours, lift-serviced mountain biking, disc golf, hiking trails, and more. What made this summer opening different was that it also included a rail park.
While smaller than the previous outing, it appears that good times were had at the small rail park.
While it sounds like the ski season has formally concluded at Mt. Washington, it’s still cool that they decided to have a few more weeks of shredding for terrain park aficionados.
