The wait is finally over as Oakley Sunglasses and Meta have finally revealed their first collaborative product. The new Oakley Meta HSTN performance AI glasses allow users to capture photos and videos, play music and get answers with Meta AI in the form factor of sporty sunglasses.

The new high tech shades will feature integrated a Meta AI assistant, open-ear immersive audio, 12MP camera and 5-mic system for picture and video capture, and touchpad to easily navigate music apps and control the volume.
We have field tested the Ray-Ban Meta glasses and were impressed with their overall performance but battery life was an issue, especially in cold temperatures. The new Oakley Meta glasses promise an improved battery life, with up to 8 hours of normal use and a higher-quality video in 3k. The new performance glasses are water-resistant with an IPX4 rating (suitable for splashes, rain, and sweat) and will be available with Oakley lense technology like Prizm and Prizm Polarized offering both impact and UV protection.
Pre-orders on the Oakley Meta HSTN Limited Edition begin on July 11th at $499 with a full lineup arriving this summer, starting at $399.
