Mountain biking in 10,000 B.C.
Mountain biking in 10,000 B.C.

4 years ago, professional trial bike rider Tomomi Nishikubo found himself stranded on a deserted island with nothing but his bike to keep him going. The first “RIDE TO SURVIVE” was a fun trip, but “RIDE TO SURVIVE II” takes things to another level.

Rather than waking up on a strange island, Nishikubo is waking up in a strange time. Specifically 10,000 B.C., where upon waking up he finds himself face to face with locals riding wooden bikes.

The fun short film illustrates Nishikubo’s unbelievable skills on a bike, focusing a bit more on mountain biking rather than trial riding as he does in the first one. Wild stunts include riding across a small tightrope, jumping over a burning barrier, and cruising on wooden bikes, right up until he wakes back up in 2025.
