Oregon —  It’s multi-sport season in Oregon, which means skiers and boaters are making their way to Mt. Hood. Some want to do both, which can lead to humorous results.

On Sunday, Timberline skiers caught a bizarre sight: a Range Rover that was towing a large boat (likely a Malibu M242) was parked illegally right next to the top terminal of the Pucci chairlift.

The driver likely got stuck while trying to turn around his vehicle. People were amazed that the driver was even able to get up to the Lodge due to the access road’s steepness and tight turns. As one anchorman once said: “I’m not even mad, that’s amazing!” The truck was eventually towed out of that spot.

In terms of the current conditions at Timberline, they remain open daily for skiing and riding. The Magic Mile and Palmer lifts are spinning from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., with intermediate and expert terrain currently being accessible.
