Copper Mountain’s Union Peak festival is set to return for its fifth year between September 5th-7th, bringing free live music, an art hub, multiple athletic activities, and community gatherings to the mountain.
This year’s Union Peak festival will be headlined by The Roots and Third Eye Blind, with Third Eye Blind kicking off the party on Friday, September 7th, and The Roots taking the stage on Saturday, September 6th. All of the music is free to attend, though guests can purchase a Full Weekend VIP Pass with exclusive stage viewing areas, complimentary snacks, daily drink tickets, festival swag and more.
The festival will include several activities including a high alpine 5K race, a Woodward Rail Jam, Yoga & Brunch and more (register for the rail jam on Friday, September 7 here). Plus the Art Hub will be open on Friday and Saturday, allowing guests to browse local makers, interactive exhibits and unique installations in Center Village.
The Summit Up 5K presented by Mammut offers two courses, one which climbs 640 feet from Aerie to the base of the Storm King lift and a more challenging course with 725 feet of elevation gain, rock steps and steep features heading up the Storm King trail. You can register for the 5K here.
