Professional skier and Jackson Hole local Owen Leeper managed to snag some pretty gnarly lines on Snow King Mountain above Jackson, Wyoming. The turns were on a mix of snow and dirt, but they were turns nonetheless.
Snow King Mountain is not open for skiing and snowboarding right now, but that did stop Owen. In fact, Snow King is set to begin summer operations on May 15 with scenic gondola rides, food at the Aurora Restaurant, and access to the observatory/planetarium.
Snow King Mountain features 1,571 feet of vertical gain rising to an elevation of 7,808 feet. The resort offers six beginner trails, 13 intermediate runs, and 15 expert trails in addition to advanced and expert tree skiing. In the summer, the mountain offers an alpine slide, bouldering, and bungee trampoline, guided hikes, mountain biking, mini golf, and more.
