Donner Ski Ranch in California has been keeping the 2024/25 season going for as long as they possibly can, but unfortunately it seems their closing weekend is coming sooner rather than later.
A post made to their Instagram clarifies that due to changing temperatures and rapidly melting snow, this upcoming weekend is expected to be their last operating weekend of the season. They’re set to spin lifts on both Saturday, 5/10 and Sunday, 5/11.
Adult lift tickets cost just $69 for closing weekend with rentals for just $30. Those with a 2024/25 season pass to a different ski resort can get a $25 lift ticket to Donner Ski Ranch, and those with another resort season pass can also get up to 4 $25 Buddy Tickets. Plus, those with a DSR Pass get unlimited $25 Buddy Tickets. Quite the set of deals!
With Donner Ski Ranch set to close, just Palisades Tahoe and Mammoth Mountain will remain open for skiing and snowboarding in California.
