When it comes to thrilling summer activities in the mountains, the niche sport of canyoneering is well worth checking out.
Cayoneering is an adventure sport that combines aspects of climbing, rappelling, hiking, scrambling, swimming and cliff jumping as participants descend canyons. Blending elements of these various disciplines, canyoneers navigate steep terrain, waterfalls, narrow slot canyons and waterholes. Canyoneering is the perfect way to experience an adrenaline rush while exploring picturesque and otherwise inaccessible natural landscapes.
