Utah’s Brian Head Resort was set to close down winter operations after this upcoming Sunday, May 4, but strong snowfall and high visitation throughout April has allowed the resort to add three extra bonus days the following weekend.

Three additional days of operation, from Friday, May 9 to Sunday, May 11, will allow skiers and snowboarders to take advantage of top-to-bottom skiing and snowboarding off the Giant Steps Express lift between 10am and 4pm. Plus the Blackfoot lift will run to serve beginner terrain.

Spring Skiing at Brian Head

“We’re thrilled to extend our 2024–25 season, providing half a year of skiing and snowboarding, and setting the longest season in Brian Head Resort’s 60-year history. We’re extremely grateful for the dedication of our mountain operations team, whose hard work gives people the freedom to ski and ride. And to all of our guests who have made this season one of the best ever — this weekend is for you.” – Amber Palmer, marketing manager at Brian Head Resort.

On the Heavenly Daze trail, the Bypass Terrain Park will feature jumps, jibs, and rails to keep park lovers entertained for one last weekend.

The Giant Steps Lodge will also be open from 9:30am to 4:30pm, offering food, drinks, beer, and a great patio for enjoying the spring vibes. Navajo Mountain and Navajo Lodge will both be closed during the bonus weekend.

Bonus weekend lift tickets can be purchased online for $19 and include a $10 resort credit for use on food, beverages, rentals, or retail. Plus ski and snowboard rentals will cost just $25, and afternoon adult ski and snowboard lessons will be 25% off.
