With April quickly coming to an end it’s hard to deny that the ski season is nearly over. There are still several resorts with lifts spinning and a few might stay open until Memorial Day or even later, but every weekend marks the last of the 2024/25 season for ski resorts across the country.
If you’re a New England skier/snowboarder, your options are quickly shrinking. Four ski areas are still open in Vermont, one in New Hampshire, and two in Maine, but those numbers will decrease after this weekend. Two ski areas have confirmed Sunday as their closing day, and another has set Sunday as a tentative closing date with the potential to reopen the following Saturday.
