Nevada’s Mt. Rose Ski Tahoe is open for one more weekend between Thursday, April 24 and Sunday, April 27. To celebrate the final weekend, the ski area is offering $60 lift tickets for adults who are pass holders at other resorts all weekend long ($30 for children’s lift tickets).
The upcoming weekend marks the end of Mt. Rose Ski Tahoe’s 60th season. On Friday, and Saturday, skiers and snowboarders will be able to ride lifts until 6pm, alongside music, food, and drinks on the view deck at the top of the Lakeview Express chair until 5:30 p.m.
“We’ve had an incredible season and want to share in the stoke with skiers and riders as the winter comes to a close. In addition to discounted lift tickets in celebration of our 60th season, we have two more ‘Open Late’ days planned on Friday and Saturday, plus our annual pond skim event on Saturday, April 26.” – Mike Pierce, Mt. Rose Ski Tahoe marketing director.
Those who purchase the $60 ticket during the last week of the season will be able to apply the purchase to a Double Down Season Pass for the 2025-26 season, with Mt. Rose Ski Tahoe doubling the ticket credit to $120. Double Down Season Passes range from $275 to $825 if purchased by April 27. Mt. Rose currently has a base depth of 5.5-feet and 7-feet at the summit.
