The Keswick Mountain Rescue Team were called to rescue a man Eagle Crag in Cumbria, England on Friday, April 18, after his dog apparently managed to push him down a steep path.

The lone walker was descending down the nose of Eagle Crag when, after scrambling down a step step, he when to help his dog Benji down. Unfortunately as he was lifting Benji pushed at the wrong time, forcing the man off balance and sending him tumbling.

A ledge was able to stop the man from falling further, but he suffered a large gash on his head. Fortunately a passing walker was able to show the rescue crew to the injured man. A team medic scrambled up to him and treated his head whilst a rope was rigged from above to help him back up so he could descend a better path.

The man apparently blamed the dog with a smile on his face, and any trouble with Benji had been forgiven by the time the dog made it to the bottom of the hill.
